April is Youth Month here at DMCU. During Youth Month, kids will learn about finances in fun and interactive ways. From contests to virtual financial workshops—we have everything for kids, tweens, and teens to develop healthy financial skills!
Financial Reality Fair
Are you ready for your financial future? Through DMCU's Financial Reality Fair, you will be! This virtual program is designed to teach high school/early college students healthy money management and smart decision-making skills.**
All attendees will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card!
*This event is for young adults in high school and early college only.
**The Financial Reality Fair will be held from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Two dates are provided for your convenience, however, students are only required to attend one.
Creating for Savings
Creating for Savings is a youth art contest for kids in grades K-5th. We want to know, if you saved all the money in the world, what would you do with it? Draw or paint a picture to show us!
Prize: Kick Scooter & a $25 Target Gift Card
Writing for Savings
Writing for Savings is a youth creative writing contest for kids in grades 6th-8th. Create a character and write a story about what your character wants to save their money for. How will they save their money to get what they want? Will your character have saved enough money by the end of your story to get what they have been dreaming of? (Your story must be between 300-500 words.)
Prize: Mini Drone & a $25 Target Gift Card
