How do I transfer money from a bank to a credit union?

Most banks have an online portal that allows you to transfer money from a bank to a Michigan credit union. If you are doing it online you’ll need to add your credit union account as an “external account.” Once the account is added and verified you should be able to transfer money between accounts.
