Important Information:
Effective May 1, members at Shared Branch locations may be asked to verify their identity using a new, secure multi-factor authentication system called IDCheck. This new fraud prevention measure allows us to make certain it’s YOU trying to access your account, not an imposter.
How it works:
- Scan the branch QR code or visit verify.coop.org
- Select your credit union, enter your member number and last 4 of your SSN
- Upload your ID and take a selfie
- Show the one-time passcode (valid for 20 minutes) to the teller

What exactly is a Shared Branch?
CO-OP Shared Branching is a network of more than 5,500 credit unions and 30,000 ATMs nationwide. It allows members of one credit union the ability to perform transactions at participating Shared Branches. It’s great for traveling, relocating, or whenever you happen to be away from your branch.
And yes, you can use the ATMs at Shared Branches for free.* To find a Shared Branch, log onto https://co-opcreditunions.org/locator/. You can also text a ZIP Code to 91989 to find nearby ATM and Shared Branch Locations.
In addition to our CO-OP Shared Branches, you can also access your account for free*at any credit union that participates in the Xtend Network. To find a participating Xtend Branch, visit https://search.xtendcu.com/ and enter your ZIP code.
* Five (5) free transactions per month. Fees will apply after the five (5) free transactions.
