I am thrilled to share my involvement in an important initiative that aims to change the narrative around health and wellness for Black women across our nation. As a proud ambassador for the VOICES of Black Women study, led by the American Cancer Society, I feel a deep sense of responsibility and excitement to be part of this groundbreaking research.

The statistics are staggering: 40% of all African American women are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This alarming reality underscores the urgent need for dedicated research and understanding of the factors contributing to this disparity. The VOICES of Black Women project is not just a study; it is a collective commitment to uplift and improve the health of Black women for generations to come.

I invite each of you to join this movement. Your voice, your experiences, and your participation are crucial to this initiative.
